Beautiful family! You all have a wonderful spirit. It reminds of an account I read where a travel asked a young woman for a drink of water. Well her not only gave him a drink. she volunteered to water the camels also. (Considering a camel can drink up to fifty gallons! So, that was no small task). What's your husband's role in all this? The unspoken provider who has to work while you play at being self sufficient. He doesn't get a voice except as your willing slave. What's the reality here?

And as much work as this may seem, it is only half the battle. There is harvesting and preserving it for the winter. We only have a quarter acre garden and it alone keeps me busy with planting, maintaining, harvesting and preserving.
